Away from the office, Dr. Kim lives in Athens, Georgia, with her husband and their fur baby, Jerry, a calico cat. The couple is passionate about traveling and are self-proclaimed “foodies” and “cat people.” They dream of building a cat café/shelter where stray cats can be rescued and find a forever home. When she isn’t dreaming about her future cat café, Dr. Kim loves to watch movies, make candles, participate in barre, and spend time with her friends and family.
Experience
After receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Kim completed a general practice residency with an emphasis on dental emergencies, operating room dentistry, and dental implants at Hackensack Meridian University Hospital in Hackensack, New Jersey. She constantly seeks to expand her knowledge of dentistry and takes monthly continuing education courses on oral surgery, endodontics, and implantology.

Dr. Clanton and her husband, Aaron, have been married since 1998, and their family includes three children, a son-in-law, and a granddaughter. In addition to traveling, Dr. Clanton enjoys spending as much time as possible at the beach and decorating her home.

Dr. Clanton is an active member of the Academy of General Dentists, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Academy of General Dentists, and the Georgia Dental Association.She is an Invisalign® provider and Academy of Laser Dentistry-certified.
